ADN740 — Concepts of Nursing Clinic
3.0 Credit(s) Lecture 0 Lab 9 Concepts of Nursing Clinic provides clinical experiences in which students apply theoretical concepts and implement safe patient care to adult patients and families with health alterations that require medical and/or surgical intervention in a variety of settings. Students incorporate application of the nursing process, advanced assessment skills, family-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism, cultural sensitivity, use of informatics and evidence based practice to promote clinical reasoning and safe practice. The student is required to successfully complete this course before progressing to clinical.
