AA Approved STANDARD CREDIT TYPE 3 credit(s) Learn typical and atypical development of children from conception to adolescence in all developmental domains. Undertake an in-depth study of the interrelatedness of physical, cognitive, social and emotional aspects of child development. Explore the interactions between the child, family, and society within a variety of community and cultural contexts. Special emphasis will be on the theories of Piaget, Vygotsky, Erikson, and Gardner. ECE 170 can substitute for EDU 160 on the AA Checklist Course Learning
