MTR120 — Medical Transcription I
Add to Pathway 3 Credits Course Description: This course covers skill development in medical transcription that includes authentic physician dictation by medical specialty, coordinated readings and exercises by medical specialty and supplementary information vital to every medical transcription profession. Students must complete a 5-minute timed writing at a minimum speed of 45 wpm with 5 or fewer errors without the use of the backspace key before enrolling into course.
