Add to Pathway 2 Credits Course Description: Introduction to types of pollutants, methods of monitoring and reporting requirements for electrical generating plants, as well as biofuels plants. Methods of controlling pollution and regulatory agencies are covered. Identification of the major sources of pollution, explanation of control devices used to minimize polluting emissions; the importance of reducing emissions, in compliance with State and Federal regulations will be discussed. Regulatory agencies overseeing permitting and enforcement procedures both state and federal will also be covered.
