Topics include: stress, strain, and the relationships between stress and strain. Analysis of bodies subjected to axial, torsional, bending, shear, internal pressure, and combined loadings. Mohr’s circle, beam deflection, stability of structures, and column buckling. Analysis of statically indeterminate structures.
