ART 2295 - Portfolio Development ART 2295 - Portfolio Development 1 Credits This course is a capstone course for the Associate of Fine Arts (A.F.A.) Art transfer pathway degree and is designed to prepare students for the next step in their educational or career development. In addition to creating an online portfolio of personal artwork, this course will explore artist resumes, artist statements, applying for exhibitions, business for artists, and installing an exhibition. Students need to have earned, or be concurrently enrolled in, 27 credits or more of Art courses in the Art pathway curriculum, or by permission of the instructor. Major Content Areas Electronic Portfolio Development: 40% Business for artists: 10% Installing exhibition: 10% Applying for exhibitions: 10% Resume: 15% Artist Statement: 15% Learning
