WELD223 — Stick Welding III
1.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: WELD 122 with a grade of C or better. As a continuation of WELD 122, instruction is centered using the SMAW process to weld in the vertical position. The student will gain proficiency using a number of filler materials in a number of joints. The successful student will demonstrate commercial quality welds upon course completion. Three laboratory hours per week. (Formerly WLDTR 123)
