SURTK209 — Concept/Procdr Surgical Tech I
2.0 HR (OC) Prerequisite: BIOL 210 with a C or better or concurrent enrollment, and SURTK 122 with a C or better. This course is a continuation of Concepts and Procedures of Surgical Technology II with an emphasis on acquiring knowledge and skills of scrubbing and assisting during surgical procedures in the operating room. Specific areas of study include the thoracic cavity and the central nervous and cardiovascular systems. One lecture and two lab hours per week.
