SCM231 — Quality Management

3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: MGMT 211 with a grade of C or better or department approval. This course focuses on quality management, control and improvement. It explains the importance of the management structure as well as the statistical and analytical tools needed to implement a successful quality management system. Discussion will include execution of quality initiatives and continuous improvement plans using tools such as Six Sigma methodologies. Three lecture hours per week. (Formerly MAMM 231)
