RADTK120 — Fundamental Radiography II
6.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: RADTK 110 with a grade of C or better and RADTK 112 with a grade of S. This course covers the anatomy and terminology of the lower extremity, bony thorax, shoulder girdle, pelvic girdle, and vertebral column, with emphasis on radiographic positioning and image analysis. Atomic structure, nature and characteristics of radiation, x-ray production, photon interactions with matter and factors affecting emission spectra are also presented. Five lecture hours and two lab hours per week.
