POLSC124 — Compare Political System
3 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent. This course introduces the concepts of political analysis used to make a comparative examination of selected western and non-western countries. Comparisons are made of political cultures and ideologies, institutions and electoral systems, as well as the political behaviors and policies they evoke and their effect on political stability. Special emphasis is placed on student discussion and research. Three lecture hours per week. (S5 905)
