(OC) This course covers the functions of the human resources department, which is responsible for job design, recruitment, selection, training, evaluation, motivation, labor relations, compensation, and safety. The impact of environmental factors on human resource management is covered. Emphasis is placed on EEO/AA, OSHA, and NLRB rules and regulations as well as social and economic factors. Three lecture hours per week.
