MECTK232 — Material Sci/Phys Metal
3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: MECTK 138 with a grade of C or better or MACTR 121 with a grade of C or better or department approval. This course is a study of basic chemical and physical principles determining the nature, behavior and treatments of materials for modification of structure and mechanical properties. Practice in applying laboratory methods is provided primarily as used for examination, treatment and evaluation of metals and alloys. Two lecture and two laboratory hours.
