MECTK226 — Statistics and Quality Control

3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: MECTK 138 and MATH 106 both with a grade of C or better; or department approval. This course is designed to provide training in fundamentals basic to control and improvement of quality of materials, products, processes, services and systems. The principles of industrial statistics are applied to analysis of data, control of product and process and the evaluation of performance of men, materials, equipment and systems in meeting design specifications for products or services during production and end use. Two lecture and three laboratory hours per week.
