3.0 HR. (OC) This theory and laboratory course is designed to develop dimensional measurement understanding and ability. Topics covered include the traditional concepts of mechanical contact measurement, the principles of standards, comparison measurement, piece-part features, calibration of instruments, and non-traditional techniques of non-contact measurement. Two lecture and three laboratory hours per week.
