MCOMM220 — Scriptwriting for Brdcst
3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: MCOMM 110, MCOMM 113 or MM140 any with a C or better. This course is an introduction to the principles and practices of writing for radio, television, film, and online audio/visual media. Students will learn how to write properly-formatted scripts for commercials, teleplays, screenplays, news, new media content, and other types of programming (interviews, drama, public service announcements, podcasts). Three lecture hours per week.
