2.0 HR. (BEC) Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in MATH 111 and MATH 096, MATH 098, MATH 099 with a grade of C or better, or High School Algebra 2 or High School Transitional Math, or appropriate math placement test score, or department approval. This course reviews the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in a college classroom while supporting success in Math 111, General Education Statistics. Topics include real numbers, linear equations and inequalities, exponents, and graphing. Emphasis will be placed on modeling and problem solving, with techniques and manipulations covered in context with General Education Statistics. Two lecture hours per week.
