3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Reading placement exam or department approval. This course will investigate current global issues from a variety of social science perspectives, including sociology, anthropology, political science, history and geography. Through class activities students will develop a more globally informed perspective on the global issues of our day and gain an understanding of how to apply various social science disciplines to a topic. Three lecture hours per week. (S9 900)
