3.0 HR. (TC) This introductory studio course provides a foundation in practices, techniques, processes, terminology, theory and aesthetics of graphic design. Studio projects stress concept, graphic form, structure and visual organization methods, to develop effective solutions for visual communication problems. Projects combine aspects of image, text, space and color, in both traditional and new-media approaches. Six laboratory hours per week.
