ENGR110 — Introduction to Engineering
1.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Credit or concurrent enrollment in MATH 165 or higher. This course provides an introduction to the engineering profession. Informed educational and career choices are facilitated through discussions with guest speakers from industry and transfer universities. Skills are developed in engineering problem solving and the use of the personal computer for word processing, spreadsheet analysis, and equation solving. A team design project is included. One lecture and one laboratory hour per week.
