ELCTK151 — Electrical Systems Troubleshoo

3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: ELCTK 150 with a grade of C or better. This course introduces the student to the methods and equipment used to maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems. Topics include the effective use of test equipment, various approaches to troubleshooting electrical systems, a review of electrical motor theory, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems. Applicable portions of the National Electrical Code are included. Safe work habits are emphasized throughout the course. One lecture hour and six laboratory hours per week.
