EDUC212 — Field Expernce Education
3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: EDUC 111 with a grade of C or better. This course is designed to provide the student with practical experience in the public/private schools and/or other educational agencies under the supervision of competent professional educators. The course is aligned with the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards and emphasizes the communication, responsibility, and collaboration dispositions needed for teaching. Usually taught in one-half school day per week in the field and two, two-hour classes per month. Three lecture and four laboratory hours per week. (Formerly EDUC 112)
