DACT110 — Foundations I
3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Department approval. This course introduces the student to the history, modes, rules and regulations of alcohol and drug treatment. Specific topics of discussion will include evolution of response systems for treatment, delivery systems such as out-patient and residential treatment and accepted procedures for intake, discharge, confidentiality and client rights. Three lecture hours per week.
