COMM245 — Communication Theory
3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: COMM 110 or COMM 212 with a grade of C or better or department approval. This course introduces communication theories and applies theories to a number of concepts including relationships, the media, and culture. The theories are designed to improve one's understanding of self and others. Theories will also be applied to groups, the public, and a variety of messages and situations. Three lecture hours per week.
