3.0 HR (OC) Prerequisite: CMCIS 152 and either CMCIS 170 or CMNET 160 with a grade of C or better or department approval. This course is designed to prepare students to be aware of network attack strategies and common countermeasures. Focus is on penetration-testing tools and techniques to tighten network security and protect computer networks and their data from potential hackers. This course is aligned to EC-Council?s Certified Ethical Hacker certification.Two lecture hours and two lab hours per week.
