4.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent, or department approval. This course is an introduction to Mandarin Chinese. It is designed to develop four basic skills in Mandarin Chinese: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Four lecture hours per week.
