CATTK112 — Fundamentals of Hydraulics

3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Department approval. This course is a practical study of the basic principles and components of hydraulic circuits and the application of these principles to Caterpillar agricultural and construction equipment machines. Major emphasis is on developing student competencies in the areas of servicing and maintaining hydraulic equipment. Laboratory practices include disassembly and reassembly of components and tracing circuits. Two lecture and three laboratory hours per week.
