3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent. This course is an introduction to general genetics with strong human orientation. Included are basic patterns of inheritance, genetic structure and function, genetic defects, genetic control of development and behavior, and the sociological impact of genetics on the future of man.
