An introduction to practical nursing and the roles of the practical nurse as well as profession and client related concepts. Emphasis is placed on the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe, quality care. The theoretical foundation for basic data collection and nursing skills is presented and an introduction to the nursing process provides a framework for decision making. Prerequisites: Practical Nursing Acceptance.
