Concepts and theories related to the promotion of health and wellness during the childbearing and childrearing years. Nursing interventions used in health promotion, risk reduction, clinical decision-making and management of the woman, childbearing and childrearing family, including working with usual childhood issues and with children who require acute and chronic care. Prerequisites: Associate Degree Nursing Acceptance.
