Care of the client in the clinical practice setting with emphasis on application of the nursing process to promote, maintain, and restore biopsychosocial homeostasis. Foundations of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nutrition provide a framework to guide holistic nursing care. Includes basic skill review, interviewing skills, health history, physical examination, cultural variations and lab diagnostic procedures. Prerequisites: Associate Degree Nursing Acceptance.
