NSG4363 — Nursing Capstone

This capstone course provides the RN-to-BSN student a unique opportunity to integrate theories and knowledge from nursing courses in order to engage with other health care professionals to lead and manage an evidenced-based project in the health care setting. This course builds on the foundation of competencies attained by the student such as leadership and management and evidenced-based research. NSG 4656/NSG 4656L. Adult Health II. This course provides the opportunity to examine and practice concepts, research, issues and trends in caring for adults with complex health care needs. Emphasis is on the role of the professional nurse in the use of the nursing process with adults experiencing complex health care needs and their families. Course structure includes 3 credits lecture and 3 credits clinical lab. Prerequisite: NSG 3626 Adult Health I.
