HPE4073 — Adapted Physical Education
This course is designed to provide basic knowledge of the history of adapted physical education; federal and state laws about the education of individuals with disabilities and gifted and talented individuals; psychological, psychomotor, social, and behavioral characteristics of individuals with disabilities and gifted and talented individuals; program planning and teacher effectiveness including assessment, task analysis, and behavior management.
