HPE2203 — Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology I

This is an introductory course in human anatomy and physiology. This course includes studying the structure and function of cells, tissues, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems, the study of the endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Introduces common human disease and injury processes. This course will prepare students to plan, implement, demonstrate and evaluate these activities across grade levels K-12 and the Health and Human Performance professions.
