CRJ4383 — Social Gerontology
An introduction to the sociology of aging: analysis of aging in its individual, social, and cultural aspects. Prerequisite: six hours of sociology. CRJ 4233 Qualitative Methods. This course will emphasize tools in the qualitative social scientist’s research toolkit. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of interviewing, fieldwork, focus groups, unobtrusive methods, content analysis, case studies, auto-ethnography, and narrative analysis.
