PNV 1666 — Medical Surgical Nursing Concepts & Clinical
This course provides the student with the basic nursing theory and skills to provide safe and effective care for the adult client experiencing acute, chronic, or life -threatening physical health conditions in selected body systems. Pharmacological and nutritional therapy considerations for various disorders are included. The systems not covered in this course are taught in Alterations in Adult Health Concepts and Clinical (PNV 1676). This course also includes clinical experi ences for application of nursing theory and skills for safe and effective care of the adult client experiencing acute, chronic, or life -threatening physical health conditions in all body systems. Four hours lecture. Six hours clinical. Six hours credit.
