Enrollment in a minimum of 15 hours each semester is recommended for eligibility for state aid, institutional scholarships, and the tuition break. Continuing towards a Bachelor of Science can prepare students for studies in: • Engineering (Chemical, Biological, Petroleum; Civil, Mec hanical, Aerospace; Electrical, Computer, or Software) • Computer Science General Core Hours 35 hours *Recommended Course for MAT within the 35 General Core Hours: Algebra and MAT 1323 Trigonometry (if placement score requires) prior to enrolling in MAT 1613 Calculus I. These students are advised to take these courses in the summer before their freshman year in order to complete the Calculus sequence before transferring. *Recommended Courses for Natural Science with Lab within the 35 General Core Hours: PHY 2514 Physics I-A and PHY 2524 Physics II-A
