A combined lecture and laboratory course for science majors that reinforces themes and concepts introduced in BIO 1134 General Biology I, while emphasizing the diversity of life. Topics covered include evolution, classification, ecology, detailed considera tion of major groups of organisms, viruses, and the study of animals and plants including their anatomy and physiology. Three hours lecture. Two hours laboratory. Four hours credit.
