PCT1113 — Fundamentals of Plumbing/Pipefitting
Add to Catalog 3 This course provides the student with an understanding of job safety and health, including first aid. It also gives the student a general knowledge of occupational hazards and the scope of OSHA law. The course includes pipefitting and plumbing fittings, valves, hangers and general trade fitting identification. Included are screwed, welded, flanged, soldered, brazed, glued, compression, and flared fittings. The course also consists of identification and use of pipefitting and plumbing tools used in today’s piping industry. (1 hr lecture, 4 hr lab)
