IDT2343 — Sign-to-Voice Interpreting II
Add to Catalog 3 ( There is an emphasis on the use of tapes and simulated situations. Vocabulary development, word endings, and the use of temporary signs are discussed. Students will learn to translate simultaneously from manual English to spoken English and to interpret from American Sign Language (ASL) to spoken English while keeping appropriate English diction. This course is designed to take the student to the next level of interpreting. (3 hr lecture)
