Add to Catalog 3 Principles of the applications of Additive Manufacturing. Advantages of using Additive Manufacturing over traditional Subtractive Manufacturing processes. An overview of the most widely used technologies, materials and applications. Create files, select appropriate technology, build settings and parameters and print complex three-dimensional parts. This class will also include safety guidelines about the lab such as which personal protective equipment should be used, basic tool use, safety practices, and general lab procedure. (2 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
