NURS1376 — Introduction to Nursing

This course provides an introduction to the theoretical foundation and role of the practical nurse in health care in decision making, professional identity, and patient centered care. Evidence based practice and Maslow’s hierarchy of basic human needs are introduced, along with the nursing process.
