LNDC1400 — Small Business Planning
This course introduces the essentials of starting and managing a small business in Minnesota’s green industry. Through hands-on learning, students explore how to transform a service idea into a viable, fundable, and sustainable business. Emphasis is placed on developing a business plan and budget that account for safety requirements, licensing, sales tax, and practical pricing strategies. By the end of the course, students will complete a foundational business plan tailored to landscape and related green industry services.
