LNDC1125 — Arboriculture I
This course is designed to give students a fundamental knowledge of the care of woody plants in the landscape. Topics include value and benefits of trees, proper planting, pruning, insect and disease identification, and commercial use of pesticides. The class will also discuss the American Nursery Standards Institute (ANSI) and Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) industry standards for woody plant material.
