HSER1110 — Human Service Skills

This course focuses on applying human services’ theories and skills in the helping relationship. Students will practice applying the stages of the helping process and will demonstrate a person-centered approach. Listening, challenging, and intervention skills will be practiced along with how to engage with diverse populations.
