ENGC2075 — Engineering Design Project

This course will introduce the student to the mechanical design process. Prototypes will be created using 3D printers, laser cutters, and milling machines. Maintaining an engineering notebook will be taught throughout the course. Individual effort and teamwork will be used to discover design problems, define product characteristics, generate concepts, choose the best concept, and produce a prototype. Solutions to design work will be presented to the class.

Prerequisites: ENGC1011, ENGC1100, ENGC1160, ENGC1250, ENGC2100
