CELE1040 — National Electrical Code I
This course introduces students to the structure, purpose, and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Minnesota State Board of Electricity laws and rules. Students develop foundational skills in navigating the code book, interpreting definitions, applying general requirements, and performing basic code-related calculations. Emphasis is placed on developing the ability to locate information quickly and accurately as a basis for all future electrical code coursework and field practice.
