CARP2200 — Cabinetmaking for Carpenters

This course introduces the principles and practices of jobsite cabinetmaking for residential construction. Students will apply advanced carpentry skills to construct and install specialty cabinets with precision and craftsmanship. Emphasis is placed on cabinet joinery, assembly, and finishing techniques. Students will interpret shop drawings, select appropriate materials, operate woodworking machinery safely, and produce cabinets that meet professional industry standards. The course culminates in a custom cabinet project that integrates fabrication and installation.
