CARP2030 — Small Business Management for Carpenters

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of planning, starting, managing, and sustaining an independent, small carpentry business. Students will learn how to develop a business plan, estimate project costs, bid jobs, manage finances, comply with licensing and insurance requirements, and build strong customer relationships. Emphasis is placed on practical skills for the self-employed carpenter or contractor, including how to start a business responsibly.
