BUSN2200 — Principles of Strategic Human Resource (HR) Management
This course provides students with a foundational understanding of strategic human resource management (HR) principles and how HR practices directly support organizational objectives. Students will explore the fundamental concepts of strategic HR planning and develop skills needed to align human resource functions with business needs. Through this course, students discover how HR is a strategic business partner rather than simply an administrative function. The curriculum covers the building blocks of strategic HR planning, enabling students to understand how recruitment, training, performance management, and other HR activities can be designed to advance organizational goals and create competitive advantage.
